I want to support them because they are friends and many are supportive of me, but like...I guess we can just be friends who don't read one another's work because that pairing will never do anything for me no matter how brilliant the writing.

Yeah! I get on like a house on fire with a Man United fan on Tumblr (she's bae) to the point where I've written Man United fic for her, and will encourage her with her stories but... I won't read her main pairing. I mean, the (fandom) heart wants what it wants. My heart wants interesting prompts about people/situations that I actually like. :D
